Gerry has influenced countless young Irish musicians to pick up the bass and has more than earned his place in the pantheon of Irish Giants of bass.

Gerry played with Rory Gallagher between 1970 and 1991, and then with Nine Below Zero until 2011. He currently tours with his own project Band of Friends.
